Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kari Jurri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jurri comes to the cage accompanied by Rising Darkness. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurri connects with a nice looking jab.

Jurri tried to score with a low kick but Thomas checks it.

Jurri throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Thomas blocks it with crossed arms.
Thomas can't find room to land a body shot as Jurri controls the action.

Thomas wants to break free but Jurri has control.
Thomas's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Thomas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Jurri lands a nice uppercut.

Jurri blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

It looks like Ash Thomas has been cut.
Jurri lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Thomas is pressed up against the cage. Jurri has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Thomas down to the mat. Thomas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Thomas throws a half hearted mid kick.

Thomas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jurri takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jurri connects with a leg kick. Thomas looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jurri scores with a jab to the jaw.
Jurri lands with an uppercut that bounces Thomas off the cage and back into range.

and Jurri scores with a counter punch that sends Thomas to the canvas! Jurri smells blood - he's punishing Thomas with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Thomas has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

After winning the bout, Kari Jurri thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
