Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jos Bos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Porter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Porter is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Vicarious by Tool. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bos lands a slapping body shot.

Bos looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Bos trying to control the position from guard on top but Porter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bos throws a strike but Porter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Porter prevents Bos from getting back to his feet.
Bos keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom.
Bos wants to stand and escape but Porter is having none of it.
Bos looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Bos is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Porter's head.
Bos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Porter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Porter regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bos.

Bos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Porter works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Porter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bos trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Porter is keeping the position for now.
Bos slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Bos trying to stand up but can't free himself from Porter's guard.
Porter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Bos gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Porter steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bos.
Porter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Porter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Porter has a closed guard, preventing Bos from standing up.
Bos has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Porter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bos scores with a shot to the body.

That's time! Bos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bos loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Bos controls from within his opponent's guard.
Bos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Porter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Porter is breathing heavily.

Bos distracts Porter with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bos keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Porter's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Porter looking for a sweep. Not yet Porter, not yet.
Bos throwing strikes but missing.
Bos stands and throws Porter's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Porter takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Bos wants to control but Porter is keeping him busy.
Porter trying to remain calm as Bos controls from the top position.

Porter seems a little lost for a moment, as Bos dominates the positioning.

Bos stands up and beckons Porter to his feet.
Porter is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bos.
Jos Bos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bos fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bos lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Porter is rocked!

Bos lands a huge takedown. Porter is out but the ref is slow to react and Bos lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Porter lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
