Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Shitty Bill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alistair Spong!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill avoids the head kick by Spong.
Bill throws an off balance right hand

and Spong counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Spong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bill throws a big shot that misses.
Spong bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Spong throws an overhand right that lands on Bill's shoulder, as Bill tries to avoid the shot.
Spong lands a glancing blow to the side of Bill's head.
Spong pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bill is out of range and Spong settles back down.

Spong clinches.
Spong with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Bill lands a left hand that snaps the head of Spong backwards.
Spong tries a body shot but Bill blocks it.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Spong.
Spong gets through Bill's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Spong.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bill breaks from the clinch.
Spong throws a right hand that misses
and Bill counters with a nice uppercut.


It looks like Alistair Spong has been cut.
Bill throws a leg kick but Spong moved away.
Some bone on bone action there as Spong checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bill misses with a looping left.
Spong throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bill counters with a leg kick.
Spong moves out of range of the strikes.
Bill throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Spong slips a jab and a cross from Bill.
Spong throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bill steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Spong.
Bill has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Spong.
A low kick from Bill misses
and Spong counters with a right hand to the body.
Bill takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bill scores with a leg kick.

Spong moves into the clinch.
Bill tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Spong.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A left hand lands to the body for Bill.
Spong fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bill misses with a low kick as Spong jumps back.
Spong throws a right hand that misses
and Bill counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Spong misses with an uppercut
and Bill counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bill slips a jab from Spong.
Spong throws a nice looking combination but Bill bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Spong scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Alistair Spong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spong gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Bill counters with a one-two to the body.
A left lands for Spong.
Bill works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Bill catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Spong stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Spong walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!


Spong is rocked!
Spong misses with a double jab.
Spong feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bills jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bill moves out of range of the strikes.

Bill scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Spong beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Spong is still on wobbly legs! Can Bill finish him?

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A telegraphed right hand from Bill misses the target.
Spong seems to have recovered his senses.
A leg kick checked by Spong.

Bill cracks Spong with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Spong get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Spong looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!


That has opened up Alistair Spong's cut even more.
Spong swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bill counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shitty Bill!
Shitty Bill took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, GREEN!160 for their support in the buildup to the fight.
Alistair Spong spoke after the fight, saying 'Damn, got caught napping'.
