Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roderick Solo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silvio Gasaspo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Silvio Gasaspo!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Solo with a jab.

It looks like Silvio Gasaspo has been cut.
Solo misses with a straight left.
Roderick Solo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Solo misses with a low kick.
Solo swings for the body but Gasaspo moves out of range.
We've been told by Solo's head coaches at Thunder MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Solo throws a push kick but Gasaspo slaps the foot to one side.
Solo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slapping leg kick lands for Solo.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Solo lands with a nice body punch.
Solo fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gasaspo is out of range.

Solo throws the left hand but Gasaspo avoids the punch easily.
Gasaspo is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Gasaspo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Solo.
Gasaspo shoots in but Solo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gasaspo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Roderick Solo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gasaspo moves out of range as Solo throws a body kick.

Gasaspo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Solo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gasaspo somewhat.

Gasaspo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Solo tries to avoid it but Gasaspo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Solo to the ground. Solo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gasaspo moves forwards but Solo connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Gasaspo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Solo.
Gasaspo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gasaspo shoots in for a takedown but Solo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Solo quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Solo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gasaspo sprawling to the canvas! Gasaspo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Solo finish him?!

Gasaspo is rocked!

That has opened up Silvio Gasaspo's cut even more.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Solo is stalking Gasaspo. Gasaspo circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Solo, and it's lights out! Gasaspo really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
