Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westbrook fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boxer manages to avoid it.
Boxer takes the fight into the clinch.
Boxer has Westbrook pressed against the cage, preventing Westbrook from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Boxer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Westbrook tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Boxer just stands there and leans against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Boxer's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Westbrook jumps guard and drags Boxer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Boxer stops Westbrook from standing up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Westbrook can do anything to dispel that myth.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Westbrook is on top in guard.

Boxer has a takedown stuffed.
Boxer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Westbrook moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice defenses there by Boxer.
Boxer appears to be looking for a big counter.
Boxer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Boxer goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Westbrook throws a head kick but Boxer moves out of range.
Westbrook fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Boxer sprawls well initially but Westbrook persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Westbrook decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Boxer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Westbrook swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Boxer misses with a series of wild punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Westbrook defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boxer.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boss Boxer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Westbrook is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Boxer's half guard.
