Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Spikey Norman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piere Dolinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Spikey Norman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Piere Dolinski!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Norman has a takedown stuffed.
Dolinski looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Dolinski doesn't manage to clinch there - Norman circles away.
Dolinski cracks Norman with a good jab.

Dolinski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Norman's guard.

Norman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Norman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dolinski is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Norman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dolinski's back instead.

Norman has got his arm under Dolinski's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Dolinski has spun round into Norman's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dolinski wants to pass the guard but Norman is keeping the position.
Dolinski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dolinski is pushing down on Norman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Norman is fighting to maintain full guard but Dolinski has managed to sneak the leg through.
Norman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dolinski is working away from the top position though.
Dolinski thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Norman's head.
Norman tries to roll over but Dolinski keeps him under control.

Norman is looking for a sweep. Dolinski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dolinski works his foot free and advances to mount.

Norman is desperately trying to improve his position but Dolinski has a good base and remains in mount.

Dolinski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Despite being in the dominant position, Piere Dolinski just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Dolinski changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Norman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Norman is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Norman is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Piere Dolinski dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Dolinski really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Norman.
Norman tries to escape but Dolinski has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Dolinski gets his hands free as Norman looks to control.
Can Norman hold on?! Dolinski is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Piere Dolinski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Dolinski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Piere Dolinski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dolinski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
