Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gareth Fawkes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieta Vivian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gareth Fawkes!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kieta Vivian!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vivian with a lazy takedown attempt
and Fawkes counters with a left to the body.
Vivian fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Vivian tries for a takedown but Fawkes circles away easily
and Fawkes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gareth Fawkes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kieta Vivian.
Vivian shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fawkes as he avoids it easily.
Vivian shoots in and drives through. Fawkes sprawls well.
Vivian shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fawkes pinned against the cage. Fawkes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fawkes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Vivian looks winded!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fawkes scores with a body shot.
Vivian takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fawkes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Vivian on the side of the head.
Fawkes digs a good body shot into Vivian's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fawkes drops Vivian with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Vivian looks back up at him and smiles so Fawkes waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fawkes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fawkes fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Vivian doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gareth Fawkes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vivian drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Fawkes drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Vivian right on the button. Vivian goes down! Fawkes follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Fawkes gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gareth Fawkes!
