Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leon Angier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Zinith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angier lands with a good body shot.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Zinith has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Angier has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Zinith escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Angier gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zinith is on top in guard.

Zinith uses his free foot to push down on Angier's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Angier.
Zinith can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Angier is looking to escape.

Zinith is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Angier defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
