Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Byron Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxi Smut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Byron Jones had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Maxi Smut is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jones misses the shot to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Smut misses the target.

and Smut counters with a stiff right hand.
Smut fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Smut throws out the jab.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Maxi Smut tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
