The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardacre tests Jones's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Jones here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hardacre does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jones avoids the body shot from Hardacre.
Jones scores with a jab. Hardacre acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jones tries to clinch up but Hardacre circles away and keeps his distance.
Hardacre throws out a counter right but Jones avoids it with no problem.

Hardacre has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Jones.

That kick from Jones tenderised Hardacre's leg. Hardacre is trying to keep his angry face on.

The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.

Hardacre has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jones.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones misses with a body shot.
Hardacre takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hardacre swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A little jabbing left from Hardacre on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hardacre moves out of range of the strikes.
