Akon - I'll still kill. A fine choice. Lipps has chosen youve danced your last dance as his entrance music. Frank Mcgrath has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Mcgrath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Louis Lipps!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lipps swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lipps looks to land a left hand but Mcgrath moved out of range nicely.
Mcgrath throws a head kick that misses.
Nice takedown defense from Mcgrath. No joy for Lipps on that attempt.
Louis Lipps seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgrath throws a head kick that misses.
Lipps throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lipps tries for a takedown but Mcgrath sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

It looks like Louis Lipps has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lipps has a closed guard, preventing Mcgrath from standing up.

Lipps had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mcgrath is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lipps Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mcgrath's back instead.

Lipps is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Mcgrath is defending well though. Lipps let's go of the attempt for now.

Mcgrath is trying to get back to his feet but Lipps has full control of the position and if anything, Mcgrath has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Mcgrath clinches up with Lipps and pushes him back against the cage.

Lipps is trying desperately to land a takedown but Mcgrath is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Lipps.

and Mcgrath counters with a leg kick.

Lipps rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mcgrath moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mcgrath with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lipps to score with a decent uppercut.

Lipps might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lipps, as that shot connected.

Mcgrath bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Lipps has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mcgrath can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lipps is working for a kimura but Mcgrath is defending it quite comfortably.
Mcgrath is looking to escape.
Mcgrath might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Lipps working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Lipps is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mcgrath is just riding it out for now. Lipps eventually gives up the hold.
