The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pedan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Pedan manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

As Johnson backs off Pedan throws a huge counter combo but Johnson manages to avoid it all.

Pedan throws a jab but it's blocked by Johnson.

Pedan throws a solid leg kick but Johnson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pedan.

Johnson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pedan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pedan throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pedan sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Johnson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pedan.
Johnson fails with the takedown.
Johnson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Pedan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Johnson.
Pedan is looking to land body kicks.
Johnson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pedan drops Johnson with a straight right hand, right on the button! Pedan follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
