Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Vovchanchyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Fu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fu has chosen I think im turning Japanese as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vovchanchyn takes a kick to the side of the head.
Fu throws a low kick but Vovchanchyn avoids it.

Fu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vovchanchyn.
Vovchanchyn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fu but Fu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fu was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Bruce Fu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fu gets tackled into the cage by Vovchanchyn. Vovchanchyn maintains the clinch.

Fu dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vovchanchyn. That did some damage!

Fu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vovchanchyn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fu - the referee stops the clock and Vovchanchyn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fu. Vovchanchyn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Vovchanchyn is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Vovchanchyn's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
