The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodsmall lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Max Dennis has been cut.
Woodsmall misses with a body kick.
Dennis misses with a leg kick.
Woodsmall tries to work over Dennis's front leg with a kick but Dennis checks it.
Dennis takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Woodsmall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Despite the aggression on Dennis's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Woodsmall doesn't manage to clinch there - Dennis circles away.
Woodsmall throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Dennis counters with a three punch combo that has Woodsmall backing up. Woodsmall nods at Dennis to acknowledge the strikes.
Woodsmall throws a leg kick but Dennis checks it.

The fighters circle, before Woodsmall throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Dennis's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Woodsmall lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
