Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo throws a head kick but Araujo moves out of range.
Aldo jabs Araujo to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Araujo fails with a takedown attempt.
Araujo has a takedown stuffed.
Aldo scores with a decent looking hook.
Aldo throws a body shot but no joy.
Araujo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aldo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Araujo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aldo throws a hook but Araujo avoids it easily.

Aldo lands a body punch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Aldo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Araujo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Aldo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Araujo wants to take the fight to the mat but Aldo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
A body shot lands from Aldo.
Araujo is breathing heavily.
Aldo pushes Araujo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Aldo digs a right hand underneath Araujo's ribcage. Araujo let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Araujo tries to stall but Aldo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Aldo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Still in the clinch, Aldo scores with a nice short uppercut.
