Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Child (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Child comes into a darkened arena with his song building. VooDoo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Brooks with that takedown attempt.
Child scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Child moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Brooks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Child tries to avoid it but Brooks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Child to the ground. Child escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice shot lands for Child.
Brooks staying out of range there.
Brooks doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Brooks or perhaps it was just good defense by Child, which made it look bad.

Brooks shoots in looking for a takedown. Child tries to sprawl out of it but Brooks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Child manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Child wants the takedown. Brooks is fighting it off but Child persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Brooks's guard against the cage.
