Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Zeitzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Barkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zeitzer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zeitzer throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Zeitzer lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Zeitzer takes a swing at Barkley's ribcage but misses.
Zeitzer throws a right hand that Barkley ducks under and follows up with a left that Barkley also avoids with ease.
Barkley gets a clinch.
Barkley gets control of Zeitzer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Barkley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Zeitzer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barkley swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Zeitzer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barkley's waist but Barkley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zeitzer off to one side.
Barkley shoots in but no luck this time.
Barkley fails in his attempt to clinch.
Zeitzer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Ivan Zeitzer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kris Barkley.

Barkley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zeitzer swivels and escapes.

Nice uppercut lands for Zeitzer. That snapped Barkley's head back.

Zeitzer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Barkley. That did some damage!

and Barkley counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Zeitzer throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zeitzer moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Barkley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zeitzer catches Barkley with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Zeitzer misses with a few strikes there.

Zeitzer throws a nice looking combination but Barkley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Zeitzer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Barkley has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Barkley there as he acknowledges the shot.
Zeitzer lands with a nice combination. Barkley backs away looking to recover.

Zeitzer moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Barkley is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zeitzer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Barkley is still on wobbly legs! Can Zeitzer finish him?
Zeitzer connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Barkley tumbling to the canvas! Zeitzer pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Barkley was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ivan Zeitzer!
