Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Clair Delacruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahmed Fevzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fevzi doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Delacruz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Fevzi successfully pulls guard.
Fevzi has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Delacruz with a nice head shot there.

Delacruz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fevzi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Delacruz has Fevzi in his guard.

Fevzi stands up and waves to Delacruz to follow him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fevzi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Delacruz pinned against the cage. Delacruz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fevzi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Delacruz circles away.
Delacruz changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Clair Delacruz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ahmed Fevzi.

Fevzi forces Delacruz back against the cage and clinches.
Delacruz has Fevzi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fevzi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Fevzi is looking for a takedown.

Fevzi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Delacruz uses from the top position.
Fevzi has control of Delacruz's left arm, preventing Delacruz from doing any damage.

Delacruz throwing strikes from guard but Fevzi blocks nicely.

Fevzi has his feet on Delacruz's thighs here. He's pushed Delacruz off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Delacruz screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
