Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amadi Obama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darwesh Iddi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Amadi Obama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Darwesh Iddi!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obama clinches.
Iddi lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Obama tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Obama has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Iddi uses from the top position.
Obama bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Iddi's guard.
Obama controls from within his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Iddi pulls Obama in close to prevent any damage.
Obama trying to control but Iddi is working from the bottom.
Iddi wants to sweep here but Obama controlling him for the moment.
Obama wants to control from the top but Iddi keeps moving.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Obama drops back looking for a leg! Iddi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Iddi manages to kick Obama off! Obama jumps back into Iddi's guard.

Obama is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Obama passes Iddi's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Obama is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Obama is working for a submission of some sort.
Obama is looking to take a break and control but Iddi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Obama looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Iddi is trying to get back to full guard.

Obama is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Iddi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Obama.
Obama is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Iddi defends it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Amadi Obama dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Iddi digs a good body shot into Obama's ribs.

Obama is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Iddi can do to turn this around?

Obama has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Iddi finds it's way round the side to connect with Obama's head.

Iddi stuns Obama with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Iddi cracks Obama with an open hand slap.
A left lands for Iddi.
Obama looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Obama moves forwards but Iddi connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Iddi drops Obama with a straight right hand, right on the button! Iddi follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darwesh Iddi!
