The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Avila gets a double leg takedown into Time's guard.

Time has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Avila can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Time throws his legs up looking for a submission but Avila uses it to pass to side control.

Avila decides to stand back up.

Time gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Avila to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Time looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Avila is defending well. Time quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Avila has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Time celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
