Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Palowakski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Steiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palowakski comes into the arena with Burning Down the House blaring out of the sound system. Brock Steiner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fred Palowakski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brock Steiner!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steiner throws a head kick that misses.
Palowakski moves out of range of the strikes.
Steiner connects with a good right hand that stumbles Palowakski. Palowakski circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Brock Steiner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Steiner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Palowakski.
Steiner bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Palowakski! He dives into his guard looking to finish!


It looks like Fred Palowakski has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Palowakski wants to sweep here but Steiner controlling him for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Palowakski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Palowakski catches Steiner with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!


It looks like Brock Steiner has been cut.
Palowakski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Steiner.
Palowakski throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Steiner stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Steiner takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Palowakski works Steiner's body with a nice hook.

Palowakski scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Steiner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Palowakski waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Steiner. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Steiner to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Palowakski slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Steiner can't keep his opponent in guard - Palowakski advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Palowakski is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Palowakski content to control rather than advance.
Palowakski wants to pass to mount but Steiner is defending the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Palowakski is trying to work for a kimura but Steiner is defending well.
