Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 wins, 1 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Helsinki, Dean Corll!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corll misses with a few strikes there.
Corll is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Turner.
A low kick from Turner misses
and Corll cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Turner feints and then cracks Corll's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Corll down.
Corll looks to throw the jab but Turner is out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Corll as he connects with a hook.
Corll throws a shot from downtown. Turner moves away and avoids it.
Turner throws a quick inside leg kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Turner.
Turner looks to land a right hand but Corll moved out of range.
Corll swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Corll throws a body punch but Turner moves out of range.
Turner looks for the body kick but Corll saw that one coming.
A countering left hand to the body from Corll misses.
Corll takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Corll swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Corll moves out of range as Turner throws a body kick.
A jab lands there for Corll.
Turner looks to land a right hand but Corll moved out of range.
Turner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Corll was well out of range. Poor timing from Turner.
A little jabbing left from Corll on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Ben Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Corll on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Corll misses with a series of wild punches.
Corll scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Turner lets loose with a powerful body kick. Corll will feel that in the morning.
Corll rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Turner counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Turner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Corll.
Turner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Corll.

Corll swinging wildly here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Corll tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Turner lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Corll scores with a jab to the jaw.
Corll uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Turner.
Turner misses the jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Turner.
Turner misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Corll connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Turner - that will leave a mark!
Turner throws a body kick that misses.
Corll looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Turner misses with an attempted mid kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Corll is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Turner.
A low kick from Turner is predictable there
and Corll counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Ben Turner has been cut.
Turner misses with a low kick.
Corll misses with a left hand
and Turner counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Turner connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Corll blocks a jab.
Corll might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
A punch lands to the side of Corll 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Turner thows a left - swing and a miss!
Turner throws a leg kick
and Turner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Turner is rocked!
Turner looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Corll throws a shot from downtown. Turner moves away and avoids it.
Turner slips a jab from Corll.
Corll throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Turner to counter with a crisp jab.
Corll uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Turner.
A little jabbing left from Corll on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Corll paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Oh Turner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Corll takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Turner seems to have got his legs back now.
Corll drops Turner with a naaaaasty hook - Turner is in real trouble here! Corll dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dean Corll!
