Silfa has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Green Aki is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silfa fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Aki lands with a straight right. Silfa didn't see that one coming.
Aki looks to land a right hand but Silfa moved out of range.
Silfa drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Aki throws an overhand right that lands on Silfa's shoulder, as Silfa tries to avoid the shot.
Silfa has his takedown stuffed
enabling Aki to counter with a crisp jab.

Anderson Silfa's cut is getting worse.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aki lands with a right hand.
Silfa shoots in for a takedown but Aki shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Silfa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silfa is breathing heavily.
Aki works over Silfa's head and body with a nice combination.
Silfa drops his hands momentarily and Aki takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
