The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy connects with a body shot that sends Souza's belly button to the back.
Kennedy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Souza clinches up with Kennedy and pushes him back against the cage.
Souza tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kennedy avoids it.

Kennedy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Kennedy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Souza did well to prevent Kennedy getting side control.

This one could be over very soon! Kennedy goes limp - he's gone! Souza jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
