The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morato swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Morato has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Morato throws the left hand but Lawson avoids the punch easily.
Lawson appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Morato misses with a looping right.

Lawson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Lawson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lawson darts in looking for a takedown but Morato gets double underhooks and turns Lawson into the cage.
Morato throws a hook to the side of Lawson's head but Lawson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lawson lands a nice hook to Morato's body. Morato takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Lawson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Morato shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Lawson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Morato throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Morato takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Lawson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Morato has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Morato fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lawson manages to avoid it.
Lawson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Lawson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Morato sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Oooooh!!! Morato has knocked Lawson down with a huge combo! Morato steps away and waves a wobbly Lawson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
