The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiyapairat lands a right hook to the body.
Andrei shoots for a double leg takedown but Tiyapairat sprawls well. He's pushed Andrei's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tiyapairat throws a head kick that half lands.
Kurt Andrei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tiyapairat misses with a head kick.
Tiyapairat jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Andrei looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tiyapairat stuffs the takedown attempt from Andrei. Andrei gets slowly back to his feet.

Horrible takedown attempt by Andrei or perhaps it was just good defense by Tiyapairat, which made it look bad.
Tiyapairat looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Tiyapairat lands a big head kick that sends Andrei tumbling to the mat! Tiyapairat takes a step backwards and waves Andrei back to his feet - he wants the finish!
