Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between I Am (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manolito Damhuis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Am's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Part II. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damhuis will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Am throws a series of punches but Damhuis moves out of range.
Damhuis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Am goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Manolito Damhuis has been cut.
A slapping body kick lands there for Damhuis.
Am shoots in for a takedown but Damhuis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Am ducks right into an uppercut from Damhuis.
Am misses with a hook.
Am connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Damhuis momentarily.
We've been hearing reports that Am has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Am shoots in but Damhuis avoids the takedown attempt easily.

That was a close round but I would say that I Am will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Am lands with an uppercut that bounces Damhuis off the cage and back into range.
Damhuis shoots in and drives through. Am sprawls well.
Damhuis throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Am's head.
Am misses with a hook.
Am throws a jab but it's blocked by Damhuis.
Am tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Damhuis defends well and Am ends up having to push Damhuis into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Am.

Damhuis throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Am scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Damhuis pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Am rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Damhuis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Damhuis changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Damhuis! Am is out on his feet! Damhuis rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Am is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Am is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
