Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan McAlister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McAlister has chosen Althia and Donna - Uptown Top Ranking as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 43 - 32 - 3, fighting out of Sydney, Duncan McAlister!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McAlister darts in and clinches Lesnar up against the cage.
Lesnar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lesnar blocking some punches.
Lesnar drops down looking for an ankle pick but McAlister pulls his leg out and moves away.

Lesnar gets tackled into the cage by McAlister. McAlister maintains the clinch.
McAlister misses with a hook from the clinch.
Lesnar blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Lesnar tries for a takedown but McAlister manages to get underhooks.
McAlister misses with a hook from the clinch.

Lesnar has McAlister pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. McAlister manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lesnar has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. McAlister is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lesnar.

McAlister tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lesnar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McAlister is working away from the top position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McAlister closes the distance but Lesnar moves to the side

and Lesnar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lesnar.

McAlister has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lesnar off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

so Lesnar counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

McAlister has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lesnar has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McAlister is pressed up against the cage. Lesnar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McAlister down to the mat. McAlister avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Duncan McAlister dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

so Lesnar counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Lesnar keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McAlister's head.
Lesnar throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
McAlister is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Lesnar is in close to McAlister's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Lesnar cracks McAlister with a solid left hand.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lesnar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
