The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriquez pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Rodriquez is trying to control Silva's posture but Silva avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva slows the pace down.
Rodriquez can't do much from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodriquez is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
