Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lorrence Fizaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry McCann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCann has chosen DMX - It's Dark and Hell is Hot as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fizaro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McCann sprawls well. McCann wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fizaro gets slowly back to his feet.

McCann is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fizaro's half guard.
Fizaro scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but McCann manages to mount him!
Fizaro is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

McCann wants to stand up but Fizaro has a hold of him and won't allow it.
McCann throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

McCann is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fizaro doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McCann.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fizaro manages to work his way to half guard, despite McCann's best efforts.

Fizaro is controlling McCann's trapped leg to prevent McCann from advancing to side control.
We've been informed that McCann has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
McCann stalling.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
McCann throws a series of punches but Fizaro moves out of range.
McCann tried to score with a low kick but Fizaro checks it.
McCann looks to land a combination but Fizaro avoids it well.
An inside leg kick from McCann misses.
Fizaro tries to score a power double leg takedown but McCann sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fizaro somewhat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fizaro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
McCann is trying to stand back up but Fizaro is controlling him
McCann is looking for a sweep. Fizaro is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCann had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fizaro defends it easily.

Jerry McCann showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Fizaro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McCann throws a body shot but no joy.
Fizaro shoots in for a double leg but McCann sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

McCann manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fizaro on his heels. He'll look to pass Fizaro's guard now, I'm sure.
McCann not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Fizaro is staying active underneath McCann, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
McCann slows the pace down in half guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
McCann has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Fizaro shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

McCann is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fizaro defends well.

Fizaro stands up over McCann, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Fizaro is looking to work some ground and pound but McCann has wrist control.
Fizaro throws an elbow that misses. McCann uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fizaro's guard. Nice move by McCann!

Lorrence Fizaro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Let's hope that McCann has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well McCann has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jerry McCann decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
