The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.

It looks like Aaron Ramsey has been cut.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ramsey circles away quickly and effectively.
No joy there for Ramsey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ramsey feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Ramsey changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ramsey shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Ramsey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ramsey slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ramsey's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ramsey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Paul Jones will probably get the nod.
