Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hong Giles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haruko Scarlet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Giles gets caught napping as Scarlet dives in and scores a takedown. Giles manages to retain guard.
Scarlet wants to pass the guard but Giles is keeping the position.
Scarlet is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Scarlet stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Giles swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Scarlet postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Scarlet pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Giles is keeping the position for now.
Scarlet passes into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Giles pushes Scarlet off looking to stand but Scarlet dives back in and keeps control.
Scarlet wants to stand but Giles has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Giles is looking for a sweep. Scarlet is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Giles might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Scarlet seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Giles could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Scarlet has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Giles is looking for a sweep. Scarlet is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Scarlet slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Scarlet keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Giles's head.
Scarlet passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Giles is trying to control Scarlet's posture but Scarlet avoids it.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Giles tries to buck Scarlet off but Scarlet is having none of it.
Scarlet lands a few punches from side control.
Scarlet lands a nice forearm strike.
Giles pushes Scarlet away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Scarlet gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Giles is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Scarlet wants to stand but Giles is controlling his arm.
Giles is trying to escape the position but Scarlet is controlling the position.
Giles tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Scarlet staying calm.
Let's hope that Scarlet has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Giles gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Scarlet takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Scarlet.
Giles can't escape the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Scarlet working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Giles turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Scarlet off and cradles Giles's limp body as Scarlet celebrates with his corner.
