The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanderson connects with a crisp jab.
Sanderson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wilson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sanderson swivels and escapes.
A telegraphed right hand from Sanderson misses the target.
Sanderson throws a looping overhand right but Wilson ducks down to avoid it.
Sanderson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wilson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wilson shoots in for a double leg but Sanderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sanderson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wilson.
Sanderson throws a lazy right hand but Wilson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Wilson closes the distance and clinches up with Sanderson, looking for a takedown. Wilson pushes Sanderson against the cage but Sanderson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sanderson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wilson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Sanderson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilson manages to avoid it.

No joy there for Sanderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wilson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Sanderson pushes Wilson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sanderson throws a one two combo.
Wilson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sanderson. That did some damage!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sanderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
