Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Brown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a shot to the body.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brown moves out of range of the body kick.
Brown misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McGuire.
McGuire has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Thunder MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Brown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A looping hook to the body misses from McGuire. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet.

Brown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McGuire.

Brown avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McGuire thuds his right hand into Brown's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
McGuire with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McGuire clobbers Brown with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Brown looks to throw the jab but McGuire is out of range.
Brown takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from McGuire.
Brown comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brown has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

It looks like Tyson Brown has been cut.
McGuire's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brown under the eye.

Brown throws a series of punches but McGuire moves out of range.
McGuire throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brown sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McGuire throws a quick inside leg kick.
Brown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McGuire was well out of range. Poor timing from Brown.

McGuire lands a leg kick that knocks Brown off balance momentarily.
McGuire is looking to chop away at Brown's legs.

Brown throws a hook but McGuire blocks it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Brown fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Brown blocks an uppercut.
McGuire keeps control of Brown as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

McGuire scores with a shoulder strike.
Brown pushes McGuire back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Brown tries to work over McGuire's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
McGuire lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Brown.
Brown lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of McGuire backwards.

McGuire breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Nice body punch from McGuire.
McGuire connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Brown's hands.
An inside leg kick lands from McGuire.
McGuire throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Despite the aggression on Brown's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Brown lands with an uppercut that bounces McGuire off the cage and back into range.
