Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobbie Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Caballero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caballero fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Stokes checks it well.
Stokes keeps the fight on the outside.

Caballero moves into the clinch successfully.
Caballero is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Caballero breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Caballero shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Stokes kicks off Caballero and gets to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stokes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Caballero fails with the takedown.
Stokes tries to counter by clinching up but Caballero breaks away and moves out of range.
No joy there for Caballero, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It looked like Stokes was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Caballero shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stokes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Stokes is working an open guard so Caballero takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Caballero tries a head kick but it misses.
Stokes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Caballero closes the distance and clinches up with Stokes, looking for a takedown. Caballero pushes Stokes against the cage but Stokes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bobbie Stokes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Caballero.

Stokes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Caballero.
Caballero throws a right and a left that Stokes avoids nicely.

and Stokes counters with a stiff right hand.
Caballero scores with a jab to the body.
Caballero fails with a takedown attempt.
Stokes tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Caballero manages to circle out of the way.
Stokes scores with a head kick. Caballero tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Caballero digs a good body shot into Stokes's ribs.
Stokes takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Caballero dives in and scores a takedown into Stokes's guard.
Stokes looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Caballero, as that shot connected.
A right-left combo lands from Caballero.

Stokes is rocked!

Stokes gets tackled into the cage by Caballero. Caballero maintains the clinch.
Oh Stokes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Caballero unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Stokes! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Caballero is unloading with more strikes now! Stokes drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
