The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
North slips a jab and a cross from Williamson .
Williamson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but North moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

We've been told by Williamson 's head coaches at The Pure Warrior that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
North bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

As North looks to move away, Williamson throws a big counter combo but North just gets out of the way.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Williamson tries to bum rush North with a series of wild strikes but North uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Good leg kick by North there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Williamson .
North is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Williamson wants to clinch up but North keeps it at a distance.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Williamson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from North - the referee stops the clock and Williamson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says North. Williamson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
North connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

North is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Williamson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

North circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Williamson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! North follows Williamson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
