Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Guillermo Castaneda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jimmy Quick enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Guillermo Castaneda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimmy Quick!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Quick clinches up with Castaneda and pushes him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Castaneda to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Quick drives through and clinches with Castaneda against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quick controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Quick avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Castaneda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Castaneda has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Quick is working away from the top position though.

Jimmy Quick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
