And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ragnar Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Diaz counters with a takedown into side control.

Diaz scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Reid to see if he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reid takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Diaz is working to tighten his grip on Reid's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Reid has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Diaz is really squeezing tight and eventually Reid passes out! Diaz breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
