PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Hahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Dulin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nelson Hahn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dulin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Dulin moves into the clinch.
Hahn looking for a takedown.

Dulin has Hahn pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dulin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hahn tumbling to the mat - Dulin dives into Hahn's guard.

Hahn is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Hahn has Dulin pushed against the cage.
Hahn is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Hahn wants to stall.

Dulin jumps guard and drags Hahn to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Dulin pulls Hahn in close to prevent any damage.
Hahn won't allow Dulin to get back to his feet.
Dulin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Dulin has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hahn is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Dulin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hahn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hahn manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Hahn goes for a takedown attempt but Dulin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nelson Hahn. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dulin has closed the distance and engaged Hahn in a clinch.

Hahn gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Dulin has control of Hahn's left arm, preventing Hahn from doing any damage.

Dulin pushes Hahn off and gets back to his feet.
Dulin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Dulin drives through and clinches with Hahn against the cage.

Dulin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hahn drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dulin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hahn has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dulin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Dulin is pressed up against the cage. Hahn has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dulin down to the mat. Dulin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Dulin forces Hahn back against the cage and clinches.

Dulin is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hahn can't fight it off and eventually Dulin manages to take the fight to the floor. Hahn looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dulin slips nicely into half guard.

Dulin is looking for a kimura but Hahn is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dulin to get the leverage.

Hahn has hold of Dulin's hands but Dulin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Dulin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hahn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dulin.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sasha Dulin dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dulin pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hahn back to the cage. Dulin follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Dulin shoots in and drives through. Hahn sprawls well.

Hahn tries to keep at a distance but Dulin has taken the fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hahn is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dulin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hahn to the mat. Hahn regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Hahn wants to stand and escape but Dulin is having none of it.

Hahn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dulin on the ground.

Hahn tries to roll over but Dulin keeps him under control.

Hahn is looking for a sweep. Dulin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hahn gets full guard.
Hahn can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dulin controls the pace.
Dulin pushes down on Hahn's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Hahn is looking to improve his position.
Dulin is controlling the pace.
Dulin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Dulin with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Hahn is trying to control Dulin's posture. Dulin takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Hahn! Dulin is rotating here... this could be the end... Hahn is out! Dulin has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
