The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Zanatty just misses with a elbow thrown towards Jonathan's brow.

Jonathan throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Zanatty escapes and throws Jonathan's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Sammy Zanatty's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Zanatty crunches a lovely knee into Jonathan's ribcage.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Zanatty has had enough of the clinch but Jonathan keeps him there for the moment.
