Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustav scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Gustav definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Surprise walks into a stiff left hand from Gustav.
Gustav is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Surprise.
Carl Gustav seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gustav ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Surprise moves away.
Gustav throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Surprise. Gustav does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gustav throwing a counter right hand but Surprise manages to avoid it.
Surprise has Gustav up against the cage in a clinch.
Surprise misses with an elbow strike.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Gustav.
A nice left hand lands by Gustav.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gustav lands a right hand.
Gustav escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Surprise darts in trying to clinch
and Gustav counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gustav pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gustav lands a nice hook to Surprise's body. Surprise takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gustav connects with a crisp jab.
Surprise tries for a takedown but Gustav sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gustav tests Surprise's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gustav scores with a hook to the body. Surprise takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Surprise takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Gustav throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Surprise sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A jab lands there for Gustav.
Gustav jabs Surprise right on the nose. Surprise blinks but takes it well.
Gustav lands a nice shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gustav keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gustav lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Gustav feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Surprises jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Surprise moves out of range of the strikes.
Surprise takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
