Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takumi Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nik Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Takeshi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Japanese Player. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Takumi Takeshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nik Snow!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeshi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Takeshi takes a swing at Snow's ribcage but misses.
Takeshi throws a lazy uppercut
and Snow counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Takeshi throws a right hand that misses
enabling Snow to counter with a crisp jab.
Snow lands a glancing blow to the side of Takeshi's head.
Takeshi missing with a left hand there. Snow was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Snow swings for the body but Takeshi moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Snow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Some bone on bone action there as Takeshi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A quick step to the side and Takeshi tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Snow has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Takeshi walks into a stiff left hand from Snow.

Snow misses with a looping left.
The fighters circling - Takeshi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Snow on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Snow drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Takeshi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Snow digs a good hook to Takeshi's body.
Snow pivots, looking for a leg kick but Takeshi is out of range and Snow settles back down.
Takeshi swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Takeshi circles away from the clinch attempt
and Takeshi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Snow throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Sloppy strikes from Snow. Those never looked like landing.
Snow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A slow jab from Takeshi misses its intended target.
It seemed like Snow was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Snow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Takeshi manages to avoid it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Snow.
Snow throws a nice inside leg kick.
Snow scores with a punch to the head.
Takeshi misses with a lunging right hand
and Takeshi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Snow counters with a nice uppercut.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Snow.
Snow scores with a crisp jab that stopped Takeshi in his tracks.
A thudding body kick lands there by Snow!
Takeshi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Snow connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Takeshi scrambles back to his feet.
Snow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Takeshi.

Takeshi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Snow throws a lazy right hand but Takeshi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Takeshi scores with a hook to the body. Snow takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Takeshi looks to score with a jab to the body but Snow is just out of range.
Takeshi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Snow throws out the jab.
Takeshi is looking for a counter combo.
Snow throws a lazy uppercut
and Takeshi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Takeshi throws an overhand right that lands on Snow's shoulder, as Snow tries to avoid the shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nik Snow dominated that round.
That's time! Takeshi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Takeshi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Snow.
Takeshi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Snow's head.
Takeshi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Snow circles away quickly and effectively.
Snow throws a nice inside leg kick.
Takeshi throws a combination that misses
and Snow counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A combination from Snow does no damage.
Nik Snow seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Takeshi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Takeshi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Snow throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Snow moves away from the strike by Takeshi.
Snow smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

letting Takeshi counter with a right hand.
Snow lands with a nice body kick.

A nice inside leg kick there by Snow. That's going to slow Takeshi down.
Takeshi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Takeshi there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Snow cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Takeshi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Snow on the side of the head.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Takeshi might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Snow is looking to clinch.
Snow loads up on a big right hand but Takeshi slips the punch.
Snow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Takeshi was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Takeshi ducks under a wild hook from Snow.
Takeshi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snow.
Takeshi misses with a looping left.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Takeshi gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Takeshi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Takeshi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Takeshi scores with the left hand. Snow knows he should have avoided that one.
Snow misses with a looping right.
Snow feints and then cracks Takeshi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Takeshi down.
Takeshi lands with a nice body punch.
Snow tries to clinch but Takeshi is having none of it.
Snow throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Takeshi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Takeshi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Snow was well out of range. Poor timing from Takeshi.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Takeshi throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Snow to counter with a crisp jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nik Snow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Takeshi throws a right hand that Snow ducks under and follows up with a left that Snow also avoids with ease.
Takeshi cracks Snow with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Snow drops Takeshi with a beautiful combination! Takeshi stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Snow is looking for the KO!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Snow pounces like a tiger and cracks Takeshi with a vicious hook! Takeshi is down but not out! Snow follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nik Snow!
Takumi Takeshi was interviewed post fight and said 'nahhhh "#"$%$%#$|....AAAHHHHHHH.....#$%#$!!'.
