Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darrell Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donny Ruff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ruff's choice of entrance music: Nightmare. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Abbott. That's going to slow Ruff down.

Abbott closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ruff to the mat! Ruff manages to get full guard.
Abbott is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Abbott postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ruff wants to sweep but no luck.
Ruff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Abbott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Abbott keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ruff's head.
Abbott lands a couple of elbows.
Abbott controlling from the top position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ruff can do anything to dispel that myth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Abbott throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ruff works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Abbott passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Abbott advances to mount.
Ruff wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Abbott scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Ruff is looking for a way out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Abbott working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Ruff is doing well to defend. Abbott seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Ruff is forced to tap and this one is over!
