Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luther Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan's entrance music is The Animals - House of the Rising Sun. A fine choice. Luther Ross is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ryan connects with a body shot that sends Ross's belly button to the back.

Ross steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ryan.
Ryan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ryan appears to be looking for a big counter.
Ryan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ross was well out of range. Poor timing from Ryan.
Ross lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ryan circles away quickly and effectively.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ross lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ryan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ryan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
