Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Aduriz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Pantera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pantera has chosen Pantera / Domination as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Juan Aduriz had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aduriz tries to clinch there but Pantera circles away.
Pantera throws a big shot that misses.
Aduriz throws a big counter combination but Pantera scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Pantera throws a right and a left that both miss.
A jab from Pantera does it's job there.
Pantera throws a looping overhand right but Aduriz ducks down to avoid it.
It looked like Aduriz was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Pantera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Aduriz takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Juan Aduriz has been cut.
A slow jab from Pantera misses its intended target.
Pantera works over Aduriz's head and body with a nice combination.
Pantera throws a lazy right hand but Aduriz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pantera throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
And Aduriz counters with a quick kick to the body but Pantera blocks it.
Pantera will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Aduriz has closed the distance and engaged Pantera in a clinch.
Pantera is trying to force a seperation but Aduriz has the dominant position.
Pantera misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Pantera is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Pantera lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Pantera lands a left hand that snaps the head of Aduriz backwards.
Pantera looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Pantera drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Aduriz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Nice body punch from Pantera - that landed with a thud.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Aduriz just misses with a elbow thrown towards Pantera's brow.
Aduriz goes for a takedown attempt but Pantera pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Aduriz takes one to the chin there.

Pantera tries to bum rush Aduriz with a series of wild strikes but Aduriz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Aduriz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Aduriz dodges the punch combination from Pantera.
Aduriz is looking for a counter combo.
Pantera changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pantera throws a right hand that Aduriz ducks under and follows up with a left that Aduriz also avoids with ease.
As Pantera looks to move away, Aduriz throws a big counter combo but Pantera just gets out of the way.
Pantera cracks Aduriz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Aduriz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jimmy Pantera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice straight punches there by Pantera. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pantera.
Pantera throws a series of strikes that have Aduriz backpedaling.

Pantera throws a series of punches but Aduriz avoids them all with ease.

Pantera cracks Aduriz with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pantera has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Aduriz to stand back up!
Oh Aduriz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pantera lands with a shot to the body.
Aduriz seems to have got his legs back now.

Aduriz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pantera paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Aduriz thumps Pantera with a low kick.
Good standup being displayed there by Pantera as he connects with a hook.
Pantera lands the left hand.
Pantera is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Aduriz had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Aduriz wants to clinch but Pantera slips to the side
and Pantera counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Pantera is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Aduriz like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Aduriz from another fist facial!
