Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Asher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Potap Kononov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Cameron Asher has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kononov shoots in looking for a takedown but Asher manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kononov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kononov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Asher has managed to free his arm - good work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kononov in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Asher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kononov on the ground.
Kononov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Kononov has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Asher! Can he survive? No! He's out! Kononov gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted.
