The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrma feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits McKenzies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like AJ McKenzie has been cut.

Tyrma moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
McKenzie attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
McKenzie looks to land a right hand but Tyrma moved out of range.
Tyrma scores with a shot to the body.
A bone on bone clash there as Tyrma blocks the leg kick.
McKenzie ducks under a wild hook from Tyrma.

Tyrma takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
McKenzie feints and then cracks Tyrma's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tyrma down.
McKenzie lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
McKenzie misses with a low kick.

McKenzie digs a good body shot into Tyrma's ribs.

As Tyrma backs away, McKenzie returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

McKenzie throws a shot from downtown. Tyrma moves away and avoids it.

McKenzie ducks right into an uppercut from Tyrma.
McKenzie keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
McKenzie cracks Tyrma with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
McKenzie throws a lazy right hand but Tyrma sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tyrma misses with a telegraphed body shot
and McKenzie counters with a stiff right hand.
McKenzie drops his hands momentarily and Tyrma takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tyrma pivots, looking for a leg kick but McKenzie is out of range and Tyrma settles back down.
Tyrma misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McKenzie.
A little feinted left hand from McKenzie on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Tyrma looks to land a body kick but McKenzie moved away.

Tyrma walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and McKenzie counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tyrma's knee momentarily.
McKenzie throws an off balance right hand
and McKenzie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tyrma misses with a hook.
McKenzie seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
McKenzie lands with an uppercut that bounces Tyrma off the cage and back into range.
McKenzie blocks a low kick nicely.
Tyrma checks the leg kick nicely there.
McKenzie throws a looping overhand right but Tyrma ducks down to avoid it.
Tyrma ducks under a wild hook from McKenzie.
McKenzie tries to clinch but Tyrma moves out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tyrma darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tyrma pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McKenzie tries to close the distance and clinch but Tyrma swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McKenzie feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Tyrma sprawling to the canvas! Tyrma rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McKenzie finish him?!
Tyrma is rocked!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Tyrma is still on wobbly legs! Can McKenzie finish him?
Tyrma misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tyrma seems to have recovered his senses.
Tyrma dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McKenzie. That did some damage!
Tyrma misses with a left hand
and McKenzie counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Tyrma falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). AJ McKenzie!
AJ McKenzie thanked the fans post fight for their support.
The defeated Kurko Tyrma had this to say: 'No more split decisions, I DIE OR ohhh... I died?'.
