Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanley Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wooten shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Khan napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Khan is not content to let Wooten control the position.
Wooten tries to stand but Khan is controlling his head.
Wooten knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Khan on the ground.
You can see the frustration on Khan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khan gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wooten connects with a nice short shot to Khan's temple.
Khan is looking to improve his position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Khan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wooten's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wooten's back!

Khan is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Wooten knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Wooten for a finish.

Stanley Khan really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Versus logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
