Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steaphan Beattie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Beattie misses.
Duran misses with a hook.
Duran lands a jab.
Beattie looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Duran throws out a counter right but Beattie avoids it with no problem.

Beattie rushes Duran and presses him up against the cage.

Duran breaks the clinch.
A lazy body kick from Beattie
and Duran counters with a straight right hand.
Beattie jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Duran misses with a right hand
and Beattie counters with a straight right hand.
Duran blocks a head kick by Beattie.
Duran tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beattie was well out of range. Poor timing from Duran .
Beattie jabs Duran to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Beattie throws a sloppy head kick
and Duran counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Duran ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duran lands a nice shot to the body.
Beattie looks to clinch
and Beattie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Beattie throws a push kick but Duran slaps the foot to one side.
Duran throws a predictable looking body shot
and Beattie counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Duran throws the left hand but Beattie avoids the punch easily.
A quick step to the side and Beattie tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Beattie connects with a jab.
Duran clobbers Beattie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Beattie throws a lazy head kick
and Duran counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Duran avoids the body shot from Beattie.
A shot to the liver by Duran . Beautiful body shot.
Beattie is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Duran lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Beattie works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Duran looks to throw the jab but Beattie is out of range.
Duran has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Steaphan Beattie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Duran lands an overhand right.
Duran punishes Beattie's body with a nice straight punch.
Duran walks forward, straight into a front kick from Beattie.
Duran changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Beattie throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Beattie connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Duran momentarily.
Beattie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Beattie scores with a head kick. Duran tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Duran is rocked!
Duran looks up at the clock. Bad move! Beattie lands a right hand from hell, dropping Duran . Beattie pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
