Adams has chosen Gold Medal as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Shawn Adams enters the cage!

Adams drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Adams wants to stand but Toch is controlling his arm.
Toch manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Toch makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Adams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Toch closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Toch is thwarting Adams's attempts to control the position.
Toch looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Toch throwing shots but Adams is blocking nicely.

Adams is looking for a sweep. Toch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Adams had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Toch is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Adams Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Toch's back instead.

Adams is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Toch knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Toch for a finish.
